Prevention

To avoid such emergencies, especially fire, please do observe the following precautions in your room:
• Do not use cooking appliances
• Extinguish cigarettes before leaving the room or retiring for the night and avoid smoking while in bed
• Do not dry wet clothes over lampshades

Evacuation Alarm

On emergencies, there will be an alarm sound that will prompt you to evacuate the premises:
• Move steadily and continuously at all times, never run
• Ensure to close the door of your room
• If there is smoke in the corridor, stay as low as possible when moving. If necessary move on your hands and knees
• Proceed to the nearest emergency assembly point remain calm and follow any instructions you may be given by employees assisting with the evacuation

Personal Safety

The lock on your door is fitted with a double lock facility, which is attached from the inside. We recommend that you use this feature whenever you are in your room for added security and privacy, particularly at night.
